Can I talk my shit again? Can I please talk my shit again? Now I know you wondering where the hell has DP been. I've been wondering the same thing. One minute I'm on Hibachi, the next I'm on BETCATS site doing my thing but I haven't been DP in a while. I haven't been play wit it. I haven't had the swagger I used to have last year. I don't know....it's gone. DP, me, Devontae Palmer, am lost in a world where I really am still trying to find myself in translation. But maybe the problem is that DP has been around too long. It's time for a change but most of you have heard that tired shit for the last two years surrounding this fucked up election. By the way, I support Ralph Nader so haters whats up! whats happenin! But I'm off topic. where was I? Oh yeah, ya boy DP is changing. I'm growing up(17 on November 4 bitches!!!!!!!) and with every year comes a new name. So from now on, I would like to be addressed as Kid Presto. The name is weird and quirky I know, but I've been listening to a lot of Kanye West' new shit lately. Everybody I talk to tells me that Kanye has lost his damn mind and that this auto tune shit is out of line and that my dude has sold out. But I feel like people are just now understanding where Yeezy is at right now. His mom just died a few months back and his girl kicked his ass to the curb like a dirty pair of filas. I feel his pain because my swag has been affected by a female as well and that has been the cause of DP not being himself. You can say I was like the dude on that hyperdunk commercial who got his girl taken and his pride when little homey dunked on his ass. Anyways when I was listening to Kanye, I heard him singing in one of his songs that his ole lady changed his life like presto. The word was instantly melted into my brain and I couldn't get it out. That is where the new moniker comes from and I think I'm sticking with this one. I just wanted to get it off my chest that I'm changing and this blog is about to go through a hell of a lot a changes as I have for the moment disbanded from Hibachi. Hursty, RV, Money, and Moose seem to have control of the fort so I feel that they no longer need me to provide my services. I might make a guest appearance from here to there but for the most part my main concern is bringing y'all what is going through my mind on heavy as heaven. Basketball related and not. So I just like to say that I'm back and I never went anywhere. and I would like to give my endorsement for Kanye West's new album, 808's and heartbreak, out November 25. The kid's back and no one on the corner got swagga like the kid. period. play wit it.
